About Selena

Selena Salfen received her M.F.A. from

the School of Visual Arts in 2010. Before

migrating to New York in 2008, Selena

worked as an editorial, advertising, and

music photographer in Chicago.  She is

orginally from a town of 4,411 people in

southern Missouri and returns to the

midwest often to photograph the rural

subject matter she loves.
